Orangerie Museum
A musuem in the Tuileries Garden
The Orangerie Museum in the Tuileries garden was chosen and planned by Claude Monet so as to house his master piece: the Nympheas.
The recent and complete restoration of the musuem allows the rediscovery of this incomparable masterpiece in the same conditions as imagined by Claude Monet. Moreover the museum also offers an exceptional panaroma of modern art with Jean Walter and Paul Guillaume's fantastic collection.

Treasure of the Medicis
The glory of the Lords of Florence in the 15th century
This exhibition invites one to enter into the very heart of the Medici palace in Florence, by recalling, among these very rarely masterpieces, a history of the Medici taste. Wherever the Medicis were installed, they reigned more thanks to the splendor of their taste than through the power of their bank.
The Medicis invented modern Western art, by encouraging Fra Angelico, Botticelli, by conferring a nobility on Italian language literature, by supporting Michel-Angelo and Raphaël, by displaying Bronzino’s Florentine mannerism, by carrying the minor arts to their apotheosis, by creating the first operas in history with Peri’s and Caccini’s two “Eurydices”, as well as by underwriting Galileo’s astronomical discoveries.

Mondial de l'Automobile
Paris International Motor Show
The Paris motor show opens to the general public at the beginning of October at Paris Expo at the Porte de Versailles. International car brands will present their range of vehicles, previews of their latest models and prototypes. This year, the show features the cars of the future: concept and hybrid cars, bio-fuels and electric cars.
Car fanatics will once again find the usual areas devoted to commercial vehicles, as well as a variety of activities (beginners’ outdoor 4-wheel drive racetrack, indoor electric karting track).
Two new attractions mark this year’s edition of the Paris International Motor Show: "Pôle Prestige" will showcase a dozen of the most luxurious brands in the automotive sector, while "Taxis du Monde" will trace the history and development of cabs from around the world.
